David,

You mentioned this concept yesterday at the Foundational Course and it landed SO powerfully with me....

For years I have clinged on to the past failures in my life. In doing so, I was living the drama of "how hard I tried", pining for what you described above: "attention, sympathy, feeling right, and an excuse for not courageously moving forward with life."

On the drive home I was very introspective... no radio, no music or anything.... and I decided for the first time in my entire life that I simply wasn't going to live this drama anymore.

Thank-you for helping me have this life-transforming insight!

I am realistic that I might quite possibly slip into this drama once again in the future... in fact, possibly MANY times in the future. Nonetheless, I thank you for your work in bringing my attention to this. It is a landmark moment that I can look back upon if I do fall back into "drama consciousness."

Why cling to dark clouds as they pass across the sky? I may miss some adventure while distracted.
Thank you David.

Beautiful! A reminder of the vitality of being fully present, without holding onto the tension of being in drama...
